I think this is the right fight for Amir at this point of his career. Campbell, Malignaggi and Marquez are well known (especially Marquez and Malignaggi) boxers in the US.

Maidana is a high risk and low reward opponent because he has a 90% KO ratio but is a no name in the US. I still think Khan would beat him but he would get no exposure or money if he fights him next.

Ortiz must build his name back up again by winning some more fights otherwise this fight would not be in Khan's interest either.

Bradley is a bit too soon for Khan right now and Devon Alexander got to defend his title a couple of times so both Amir and Devon can unify later on.

What do you think is the right fight for Amir Khan next?

I would want Khan to fight Maidana, Maidana also wants 2 fight him aswell so it looks like he will have 2 fight him.

I think Marquez wants to fight Hatton in Manchester or at Wembley.

Malignaggi wouldn't be bad for Khan to make his US Debut or fight next if he doesn't fight Maidana.

Out of those, only Malignaggi would be a good career choice, I think.
He definitely improved significantly under Roach, but...
      - Marquez is out of his league, in my opinion
      - Campbell is a very unpleasant and of course experienced opponent
      - and Maidana is way too dangerous. Khan must be able to box around him and keep him at bay for 12 rounds, I wouldn't bet on that.

Why would any of those 3 boxers, want to pick up a fight with Khan?

Tbh i'm not too fussed on Khan Malignaggi .Khan stoppage or Malignaggi decision .I like fights when 1 punch can end a fight either way.Malignaggi doesn't have much power so either Campbell or Bradley for me .That's more exciting I think and better for boxing.

Malignaggi/Campbell are irrelevant at 140 really. Bradley/Alexander/Maidana maybe even Hatton for big money.

Personally i want to see him shut up the critics and fight Maidana because i think he beats him comfortably and everyone seems to think he's going to get sparked in 1 round again.

Hmmm interesting, a Lightweight, a Featherweight, a guy with no power and Maidana...

And i think they would all beat him as it happens except maidana who I don't really rate.
