I think it's a good idea. Since there are plenty of people who think that Pac is as clean as a whistle and others have their su****iouns I think having a second Olympic type testing done is great. Both these guys shouldn't have a problem in agreeing to it.

Fear in the camp of Mayweather there is...much fear there must be to demand such a strict test as this. I find this to be very funny that the big man is asking for such a strict test, as olympic style drug testing against the little man. This can only mean one thing: Fear. Mayweather must really be scared to death at Manny's power. This is just another cheap shot at Manny (IMO)... Manny should tell him and is whole team to *** off! However if it'll make the fight happen, and they both are subjected to it -- give little mayweather his drug test so he can sleep alittle better at night...since all the drug testing in the world isn't going to help him out come March 13th.

Cotto beat Quintana on Dec 2006 for the WBA WW Championship in 5rds and then defeated Urkal in March 2007. As you have said, check your facts first before you flap your lips. And why would that matter in the first place if Cotto did only had 1 fight as a WW which clearly he didn't. But yet you would justify Floyd fighting a lightweight that had to get 14lbs fatter and had never fought as JWW before and Floyd came in as a WW, now why is that, care to explain.

Then his camp should have no problems with rigourous testing. Also your (and others on this board) ignorance regarding steroid abuse astounds. I'm not saying Manny is on anything (though i suspect he probably is), but to use a clean test immedietely before and/or after a fight as proof he is not doping is laughable. The sanctioning bodies testing for doping is incredibly lax (like most other pro sports). Masking agents can delay the release of chemicals in the body that indicate steroid use quite easily. How long did it take before Mosley was caught?? It's also well known in boxing circles that Holyfield used steroids for the better part of a decade. He has previously been diagnosed with a heart condition. Alterations/defect of left ventricle of the heart is a known side-effect of prolonged steroid abuse. Was he caught? Baseball (Barry Bonds), track and field , tour de france......seriously with only 2 days warning of a test it is very easy to take measures that will prevent a positive test.

If the Pacman camp has nothing to hide it will agree to suprise testing in the 8 week lead up to the fight and 8 weeks following post fight. The TRUTH is there is "ZERO" incentive for boxing (and all sports) to test rigourously, as a positive test of a boxing star like pacman or any other star fighter only serves to damage the sport and hurt the income ******s of all the major players involved such as sanctioning bodies, promoters, fighters etc. Don't be so naive people, these are pro athletes we are talking about, and there is millions and millions of dollars on the table if you can step up and take it!!!

I don't see how never testing positive for performance enhancement is such a testimony for being a clean fighter when the Commissions don't appear to test randomly, during training camps or pre-camp, but only around the fight. There's a lot of room to cheat in boxing if that's the case, if all you have to do is cycle whatever you're taking so it's gone before a test.

Shane Mosley never tested positive right? He was only caught because of C.J. Hunter wanting to expose ex-wife, track star Marion Jones' BALCO association for hooking up with Tim Montgomery right?

I know Pac fans detest the fact the there are people who think Pac could be on something. Your saying that people are claiming Pac is on steroids because he's so good. Pac is in fact good but why would you be 100% sure that he's not on something. Do you train him? Are you his nutritionalist? Are you with him day in and day out? The fact is that the reason people have their su****ions is not because he's doing so good. The reason is because of how the amount of weight classes he's moved up and with every weight class it just seems that he is much more stronger. That's why people have their su****ions, not because he is "so good". There are a lot of "so good" fighters out there but they haven't move up in weight and gotten stronger in each weight class like Pac. If your saying why people aren't claiming Floyd is on steroids because his move from the lighter divisions seemed more natural. Plus, you didn't see Floyd move up with this unbeleivable power. He just brought his skill to the upper divisions.

Bro, I'm not claiming Pac is on roids but dam, I can't totally dismiss the idea that he's not. You would probably be surprised what happens behind closed doors with a lot of athletes.
