Pacquiao is athletic and powerful but hes not very smart.
There is no reason why a guy as slow as Marquez shouldve been able to tag him so many times in the 2008 fight. The guy is just not very good at adjusting.
And in the Cotto fight, Cotto was actually able to dodge Manny's punches in the late rounds when he was a half-dead, bloody mess. Manny does not know how to cut off the ring.
Mayweather is way more defensive than Cotto and his counters will launch faster than Marquez, I just dont see Pacquiao winning under any circumstances.Comment

and how about you make a thread where we hear YOUR thoughts and synopsis of the fight?....From YOUR point of view how do you see the fight playing out from a logical point of view...its easy to post articles and jump on the back of the bandwagon of the author.......

I'm challenging all Floyd supporters here to a bet that the Pacman WILL NOT be easy work for Pretty Boy. Here are the conditions for this bet:
1) Floyd must dominate and win at least 10 rounds of this fight as he did with Marquez
or
2) Must Knock-out or TKO the Pacman
If Pretty Boy doesn't meet the criteria above, I win the bet.

I find challenging people with e-point bets here in the forums very exciting and it basically puts pressure on the really tough "knowledgeable" posters to put their "money" where their mouth is. You're a boxing fan, don't you like challenges yourself? Most people analyzing Floyd's fights mainly point out his struggles against Castillo 1, Judah, and De La Hoya.
And as is usually the case, Mr. Dumon fails to point out that in the first Castillo fight, Floyd fought with one arm. He was virtually disabled and still managed to convince the judges who should've been the victor that night.
He also fails to point out that in the immediate re-match with Castillo, Floyd proved the naysayers wrong by wide a wide margin. Meaning there were no questions to ponder who the best man was that night.
Against Judah, who many thought had the best chance at beating Floyd due to his speed, Floyd again showed why he is the more intelligent fighter.
After a pretty decent chess match in the early rounds, Floyd adjusted his game plan (no doubt with the help of uncle Roger's insight and foresight)
and capitalized on Judah's mistakes.
Oscar had many advantages in their fight, two of which were height and weight. Not to mention being the much better version than the one Manny fought. In addition Oscar employed Floyd's daddy, Floyd Sr. for some of his biggest wins before meeting Floyd Jr., and had Freddie Roach in his corner on the big night.
It will be very interesting to see how Freddie and Manny can pull off a win, and that's what makes the fight all the more intriguing to say the least.
I'll be waiting with bated breath for the ring introductions of each fighter that night.Comment
