I don't think Buddy was ****** at all. You have to remember, they reinvented Gatti when they turned him into a boxer puncher. The only time he relapsed was against Ward. Then he outboxed him easy in the rematch. So i guess they felt good about there chances in that style (I never thought he had a chance, but I can see what they were thinking).

Shields on the other hand, completely is taking away what his fighter does well...

Everything you said is 100% correct but anyone in there right mind knew that Gatti had no chance to outbox Floyd. Most people dont think the best pure boxer can outbox Floyd let alone a Gatti. He definatly changed his style but he shouldve tried to be the old Gatti for that fight. Floyd aint Ward. Then tonight you saw Diaz come on late when he was pressuring and getting inside. These trainers are dumb and the fighters are also dumb for allowing it. These fighters arent kinds anymore and they should recognize before hand when a guy is making a bad move
