It should be considered. But this isn't like Nascar where the guy who wins at the end is the winner. Why is the last three years of a decade so much more magically important than the first seven?

It is more like boxing. Floyd put 8 rounds in the bank.

This is like Delahoya-Trinidad. Floyd won 8-9 rounds. then ran for the last 3-4.

I took Hopkins consistency into account. Is really crazy not to.

I will DEFINITELY credit you as one of the few who gave Hopkins his appropriate credit.

Right now I don't want your credit...

I want for you to explain your De la Hoya-Trinidad analogy...

I am saying that for the people who felt that Oscar won 7 or the first 9 rounds, that whaever happened from there does not change the seven rounds that Oscar put in the bank.

Side note: Vitali Klitschko's wife looks like a spy.

Probably cause PAC dominated Hall of Fame fighters..... and Mayweather just beat them.

man doesn't work like that. too many things to consider. manny broke record by climbing weights as well, had tougher battles and quickly became the face of boxing...

anyway, don't quote me on this one, just google, pacquiao fighter of the year and you will find why most sports journalists unanimously chose MP over FMJ as FOTD.
