I see both bros hanging on for dear life while Haye smashes them to the canvas.........
Haye will beat Vitali

I would beat Herbie Hide. Haye will be Too Fast. Vit could hardly hit Johnson with a decent punch. Johnson is realy poor, iv seen harder doormen than Johnson, hes nearly as fat as Ricky Hatton.Lets be real here, Haye has the weekest chin in the heavyweight division, has horrible stamina and a very low workrate, 80 year old shot Holyfield did better against Valuev than Haye did. Haye is garbage, he's a carbon copy of fellow glass chinned Brit Herbie Hide (who was destroyed in 2 rounds by Vitali)
The Klits are unbelievably booring. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzComment

Haye will fight defensively until the late rounds and begin wailing on Vitali in the 10th.
Quitali has no stamina and he looked like he didnt even want to get up in between rounds. Id much rather Haye KO Wlad because they will claim Quitali was over the hill.Comment

uh,,,,is vitali not 38 yrs old? if haye wins,,,do you honestly think it would be against a prime vitali? vitali is clearly past his best. you could see shades of him slipping in the gomez fight and it was most noticeable against johnson. I think vit should fight haye as quickly as possible and then retire before he totally loses itComment

People slating Vitali for not putting away Johnson are wide of the mark, the guy didn't want to fight Vitaly! He was in survival mode for twelve rounds and hardly threw a punch. Haye can adopt those tactics but I doubt his chin is anywhere near Johnson's. The truth is Haye's been KTFO'd and on the floor four times.

Don't worry they'll both be laid out soon enough.Comment

Boxers in survival mode get put away all the time, especially if they just back up to the ropes. Also as Johnson was no throwing back it gives you even more opportuinity to unload.People slating Vitali for not putting away Johnson are wide of the mark, the guy didn't want to fight Vitaly! Haye won't adopt those tactics he'll be too quick with both his feet and hands.
And to be honest if you can't get out the way of a lumbering robotic right hand you deserve to go down.Comment

Well let's see how Haye does against Ruiz before we criticise Vitali for not putting away a guy like Johnson. The two guys Haye has KOed in the heavyweight division so far haven't exactly been world beaters. If Haye KO's Ruiz then I for one will be quite impressed. Even if Ruiz is an old man now, Haye will have done what only one other heavyweight (Tua) has ever done. Most likely though Ruiz resorts to clinch mode when he takes a few solid shots, and spends the rest of the night stinking the joint up.
Vitali's right was pretty bad in the early rounds. It was more of a haymaker than a straight cross, and his right foot kept coming off the canvas. However, in the middle rounds (round 6 onwards I think) he started to shorten it up and land more frequently on Johnson. He also got noticeably quicker with his punches as he seemed to warm up.Last edited by nomadman; 12-13-2009, 07:58 AM.Comment
