mitchell is a very good fighter but i dont think precott is the right person to use as a barometer for just how good mitchell is.

in england mitchell has been something of a hidden gem, good power, decent skills and he can take a punch when he needs to.

id like to see him in there with katsidis and maybe valero.

thats just his opinion,i remember before the khan vs salitia the one of the new york writers said he was the next big thing and would knock chinny khan out and we know what happened there.mitchel is a good fighter but world beater not sure

I never saw Mitchell as a world beater. The last fight said more about Prescott's lack of talent than it did Mitchell's talent. You'd think he would have tidied up his style since beating Khan, but he is worse now than he was back then! How the hell did he regress? The wide punches are horrific. That kid needs a better trainer.

Mitchell looked pretty good to me, although world beater maybe going too far. Id like to see him in there with Katsidis tho.

I dont know why peoople rate Mitchell so highly tbh, he is a good fighter and he probably will win a title, maybe 2, but he does not have the potential to be an elite fighter, just a solid B/B+ class fighter like Hatton, Witter.

I heard they said he was the Wayne Rooney of Boxing when he was an amateur lol

Not that Rooney is Pele in the first place but the press seem to think he is, well that gives you idea of how vastly overrated the media view his skills.

I like him though he is good to watch, he will get hit and he has heart to fight through a tough fight, plus he has some skill, albeit no where near as good as billed.
