Comments Thread For: Jean Pascal Decisions Adrian Diaconu, Retains Title

At the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, WBC lightweight champion Jean Pascal (25-1, 16KOs) retained his title with a hard-fought unanimous decision over former champion Adrian Diaconu (26-2, 15KOs). The rematch was another classic, with scores of 118-110, 117-111, 117-111 but the fight was a lot closer than the cards would indicate. Pascal took the title from Diaconu with a unanimous decision in June. [Click Here To Read More]

Good fight once again, and props to Pascal, who suffered a shoulder injury early in the fight. His corner had to fix his shoulder 3 times in the fight, noticeably at the end of round 10.

I need to see this fight (Youtube in a few hours). Now bring on Chad Dawson vs Jean Pascal. That's the only fight that makes sense right now in the LHW division unless Hopkins wants to play. I still rather see Dawson vs Pascal.

i had it 117-111 which is **** on with 2 judges, I could see a 115-113 to pascal if you favoured diaconu but no way closer than that, pascal will make a chad fight exiting, id expect chad to win on points with his jab being the key but chad cant hurt him, pascal has a granite chin period.

Great fight once again, Pascal-Cloud appeals to me a lot more than Pascal-Dawson
