People forget that was a young Mayweather. Floyd is now 32(FEb will be 33). Not the same young hungry fighter he once was. Back then he was fighting for bragging rights. Now in his own words he is not fighting for bragging rights. He was a bad boy back then. I've watched all his fights.
Gosh i miss the offence from mayweather

If Manny outclassed this guy in that way his fans would include him in the generic list of shot fighters they usually reel off to proclaim his greatness. As it's Floyd the outstanding performance gets 'conveniently' ignored.Comment

Yeah your right. But boy was he so good back then. remember the Ndou, chavez, corley fights. He showed a great chin and a fighting spirit. I miss that mayweather. But you have to do what you gotta do to get that W. I still think he is a great fighter right now. Just different.Comment

lmao...in no way is this true...
him improving his defense has made his offense better as well. Just because you don't throw 50 plus punches a round doesn't mean your offense declines.
in the 4 fights before Mayweather fought Oscar De La Hoya he outlanded his opponents 537-177. << this is what you call "declining while moving up"
In football if you need to go 100 yards to the other side of the field to score a touch down you can do it by throwing 1 quick deep bomb...or you can have a long drive full of runs and short passes...either way its still 100 yards of offenseComment
