Diaz could do a lot better than what he showed the first fight. Paulie on the other hand fought his best fight. I'm just going with my gut on this one.

I was always critical of Ortiz all the way up to the Maidana fight because he had this smugness about him like "man, I'm with Golden Boy, they have big plans for me, I practically have a red carpet leading me to the top" but now Ortiz does seem to have a different "aura" about him. Like the beating Maidana gave him knocked a new-found "you know...this is serious stuff and I'm not guaranteed anything" mentality into him.

I just hope the fight won't be one of those short ones where it doesn't answer any questions like Shannon Briggs' comeback fight a couple of weeks ago
