If Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the proposed date of March 13th becomes official, both fighters will have to undergo rigorous drug testing leading up to the fight. According to report by ESPN, part of the contract has both sides agreeing to be subjected to Olympic-style drug testing that will include blood tests. The tests conducted on each fighter's blood samples will thoroughly be tested for steroids and other performance enhancing drugs or chemicals.

The blood samples will be tested at the U.S. Olympic testing center at UCLA, and each fighter will be subjected to more than one drug test over the weeks leading up to the event. Blood tests will stop one week before the fight.

According to ESPN's report, team Mayweather wanted the Olympic style drug testing clause added to the contract.

The highly respected and talented trainer for Pacquiao, Freddie Roach was quoted by the publication in regards to the drug tests being a stipulation in the contract. Roach stated: "Mayweather's side wanted it because the expert over there, Mayweather Sr., says Manny is on steroids to get bigger." Roach is certain that he and his fighter Pacquiao (who has already passed every drug test in his career so far) have nothing to hide. "I have no problem with the testing whatsoever," stated Roach.

Roach knows that his star pupil Pacquiao will pass the drug and blood tests with flying colors and feels that Mayweather's side is scared of Pacquiao and his power. "They can do whatever kind of drug testing they want," stated Roach to ESPN, adding: "They're scared of Manny and scared of his power. He'll pass any test in the world."

Chances of any illegal substances being found in the blood or urine samples of both fighters are slim... considering the rigorous testing they will be put through, sneaking some type of steroid or enhancement will be next to impossible and ****** to even try.

Neither Pacquiao or Mayweather have ever failed drug testing in the past.
This fight wont happen,Manny's not passing the drug test.

its very easy. pac has to use his natural gifts in speed and agression in a smart way. dont be wreckless where floyd can counterpunch you to death. pac uses controlled agression with movement quck bursts than floyd wont be able to do ****.

Thats why these accusations dont work, you just have to look at the calibre of the people doing the accusing. Its a good thing though I suppose,as it removes any doubt, and if Manny comes up clean, then Floyd snr,Floyd jnr, malignaggi etc. are going to look pretty f.ucking silly.

Its always far too much to expect class and dignity from the Mayweather camp, and as far as amateur psychology goes, this is a pretty lame attempt as it actually makes their camp look worse. Given the track record of Sr. I wouldnt be surprised if its Floyd that has some sort of drug issue.

This takes away from this fight, which is a bit of a shame.

Thanks, man much better but thats not away to beat floyd, Everybody tries that. Manny is to slow with his punches on the outside. Floyd controlls the Pace, If manny gets close Floyd will Hug and Grab. so that takes care of your method. But good honest try thats what i Expected. I expect Floyd to land a a low punch amount. Hug grab and counter. He will make manny miss horribly. 11-1 round for Floyd

no one can implement it the way pac can with his natural gifts. floyd wont be able to see the lead straight left which is a punch that has caused him problems. pac has the speed to close the distance and break him up. pac has all the tools to defeat maywether because he can match his speed. floyd looks unbeatable when he controls the tempo of the fight, he wont have that aginst pac.

This would suck if one of em test positive. I got a feeling floyd pulls out trembling when pac clears the test.

i'm wondering sometimes if these ****riders are truly boxing fans because they seem to be killing the sports from the inside

Mark my words: If Manny beats Floyd the accusations won't stop no matter how many tests he passes.
