It really depends on what you mean by 'talented'. I mean, there are many talents that make a great fighter.

In terms of hand speed and footwork then Amir would have to be classed as number one.. likewise he'd be at the top in terms of how fortunate they've been with their career (ie having it all handed on a plate)

The poll is based on the JWW ranking by The Ring. I replaced Ricky Hatton with Victor Ortiz.

I myself think its Amir Khan.
          Well you would wouldn't you.

Do Olympic Silver medals get handed out to 17 year old teenagers for doing nothing?

            I'd say, he's deserved everything he's got.

Well obviously not and Amir was very good as an amateur. However, as a professional he's been spoon fed and had pretty much everything laid out to him. He's had 20 odd hand picked fights and still hasn't won a meaningful title (ie British or European), instead choosing to go down a commonwealth/intercontinental/alphabelt soup route.

He has been on national mainstreem TV against the likes of Michael Gomez and Willie Limond drawing 5 million plus viewers getting knocked down by both then lines up a pay per view deal fighting unknowns and has beens expecting the public to cough up £15 to watch a work in progress claim to be the champion of the world.

Now because of his popularity and mainstreem appeal, he's been able to work with the recognised best trainer in the world currently and improve his game immensely.

I'd say he's had more than his fair share of good luck in the boxing world especially compared to the likes of Maidana and Urango.

Of course Amir Khan is not the only boxer to get this kind of treatment but seriously the way he's being viewed so far you'd think he's the ***** messiah!

                    Ricky Hatton.

Amir is talented but he's never going to be able to take a shot from an elite fighter.
