Miguel Cotto - weight drained, catch-weight king pacquiao does it again makes cotto come at 145 lbs, cotto had already been destroyed by plasterito and was never the same fighter, apart from that had been in wars. Cotto was also not allowed to rehyderate more than a certain limit of according to the contract
Ricky Hatton - hatton was never the same fighter when he took his first loss in the ring against mayweather, he took a beating in the process that he had never taken before and was ***ed mentally as a fighter as he lost his confidence. Apart from that the blowing up in weight and drinking didnt help
Marco Antonio Barrera I - I give manny credit for this one. Close to a Prime barrera, not weight drained although already been in wars against Erik Morales, naseem hamed, and junior jones. those fights take something out of of u.
Marco Antonio Barrera II - extremely washed up, lost to khan after a few fights, been in too many wars, no point of the second fight after manny dominated him in his prime, waste of time and purely for the money.
Erik Morales I - was past his prime, coming off a loss to barrera and been in too many wars yet still managed to beat pacquiao
Erik Morales II - Again was past his prime and washed up, coming off a loss to zahir raheem - got dominated by Zahir Raheem, and then beaten by pacquiao in a fairly competitive fight.
Erik Morales III - Extremely washed up, too many ring wars, lost to david diaz in his next fight and was on a losing streak prior to diaz.
Juan Manuel Marquez I - the second credible fight after barrera I, but pacquiao lost almost every round after the 1st, i have never seen any fight in which a fighter knocks down another 3 times in the first and still loses the fight. It was a robbery, but not as bad as the second fight.
Juan Manuel Marquez II - Just when you thought the first was a robbery, it couldnt get any worser, the second fight was one of the biggest robberies of the year, marquez won that fight yet got screwed again, even filipinos such as nonito donaire scored the fight for marquez, the media in phillipines scored it for marquez, here are some of the scores:
Most boxing experts had Marquez winning over Pacquiao:

- Filipino Sports Analysts Ronnie Nathanielsz, Recah Trinidad and Ed Picson all picked Marquez.
- Graham Houston, FightWriter.com also picked Marquez
Oscar Larios - handpicked opponent from 2 weight classes below him.
David Diaz - bum with an alphabet title.
Oscar De La Hoya - extremely weight drained, past his prime, was fighting to just make the weight, lost to mayweather 2 years ago at his chosen weight, gloves, ringsize.
Conclusion:
- The only decent win on his resume is Barrera 1.
- He should have two losses to Marquez.
- weight drained delahoya, cotto and morales.
- fought barrera and morales after they had been in wars with each other
- steroid allegations are still on the high, making everything fishy. Blamed by mayweather sr, kermit cintron, paulie malignaggi.
probably you have reason, but pacman fight the best in all weighs. and he is smoller. if pacman fight against Timothy Bradley and not a past prime hatton you say Bradley is a bum he duck Hatton, the same with the others fighters

LMAO! Nobody in boxing EVER wasn't allowed to rehydrate, you ****ing moron.
__________
"Its no concern of mine whether it is 145 pounds or not," Cotto said.
"That is the usual weight that we cut down to for the weigh in, and in the ring—on fight night—I will go up eight to 10 pounds, so actually during the fight I will weigh around 155," stated Cotto.
__________
This thread is almost as good as your "Hatton beats Pacquiao" thread.
Cotto was also not allowed to rehyderate more than a certain limit of according to the contract
roach wanted this to be a stipulation, nowhere have i seen he actually got this wish. cotto just came in at the right weight and didnt blow up 15 pounds like pbf did to jmm.

Good effort to prove ur point! Gotta giv it to ya, but I think u play him down alot, any of those opponents would trouble most fighters prime or not
guess we'll have to wait till march 13th, prime may vs prime PAC, no excuses...
this is pretty sad coming from a so called boxing fan. its very easy to nit pick a resume, even easier if your name is floyd mayweather, but i wont because its disrespectfull towards a great fighter. for all your excuses pac has 4 lineal titles which means he beat the man in the division, and pac has won titles from flyweight to welterweight which is still a historic accomplishment.
t.s youre not a true boxing fan if you cant give credit to what pac has done.
That would be dangerous, because you wouldn't have enough fluid in your brain to cushion it against punches.
Yeah exactly.
The 145lb catchweight was all about gaining a mental edge, not a physical one. And Team Pacquiao were most definitely not trying to kill someone! Cotto was fine with the weight. His doctors said he would have no problems, only that he should try and not go lower than 144. Since 145 is the number he usually aims for, what's the big deal. He didn't make excuses, but Pacquiao haters are doing it for him.
**** has gone way too far. "Boxing fans" who write these type of threads don't deserve to watch the sport, they should be put down.
