How is the view in the stadium?

I just don't see how great it would be in an arena that big.

I mean you have basically a 20x20 ring. It's not like a football game where the action can be spread out.

I think it would suck for a lot of fans far away.

it can't be that good. most will be watching the big screens.

it'd be a great atmosphere though.

i still say staples center would be the best venue.

        Ha.
I remember going to fights and seeing a knockout, and looking up to see the replay and there was no jumbotron.

I remember doing that at Ben Tackie-Teddy Reid.
I am like **** there is no tv. damn it.

that's why i'd rather buy the ppv and watch it on tv.

i'd go if it was at staples though.

i heard they were proposing closed circuit next door at nokia too.

          i'd go to either.

i don't really care about going to vegas.

Yes the Texas Commission has a deservedly bad reputation. But that can all be circumvented for this fight. Bring in Bayless or Wheats for the refs and secure judges that you would use in Vegas like Dave Moretti and Duane Ford. Problem fixed.

Its not like the Commission has to use Texas officials, that's just done due to nepotism and politics and happens everywhere. Terms can be arranged to have only the highest qualified judges and refs appointed to this fight. So quit using that as a reason not to have this fight in Arlington.

The Vegas scene for a big fight has been great, but is kind of played out now, and for a once in a generation fight, something new and exciting needs to be done. This is the Super Bowl of boxing and true sports fans should get the opportunity to attend, not just celebrities and high rollers in a venue that holds less than 20K.

I am a huge boxing fan and at least want a realistic chance to attend this fight. That chance is null and void if the fight happens in Vegas.

Either way, the fight is going to make a lot of money and generate a lot of PPV buys. Vegas is Fight Town, but it would definitely be amazing to see 70,000+ fans at Jerryworld. A real Super Bowl of Boxing.

I have a feeling Jerry Jones will try to beat any offer Vegas throws, but it will all depend on whether Pacquiao and Mayweather actually want to fight in Texas.

The geography is all wrong for the fan base, I would think.

                But who knows, money talks.

                  the geography is wrong.

                  floyd fans don't travel.

filipinos are not in dallas. i think they're more in the houston or san antonio area and not that many compared to in california.

this fight is gonna be at staples.

HA, I'll be living in Dallas by then. I hate the Cowboys and Cowboys fans.
