I got Vargas, Martinez has great hand and footspeed and lateral movement but Vargas would've kept the pressure on him and eventually catches him, remember Vargas at 154 was really strong and was really accurate. Vargas by late KO or UD.

Post-Tito Vargas was able to hang with Oscar (a MUCH better fighter than Martinez in every aspect) till the 11th and give him fits. Prime Vargas disposes of Martinez without much problems.

Martinez can be broken down, Vargas at his best was had great timing while applying very good pressure. Vargas beats him but it's a tough fight.

Neither guy is special, but if I had to lean towards one of them I'd choose Martinez. The first slick southpaw that Vargas faced gave him trouble (Raul Marquez).
