It's freaking cool if it's an amazing fight. Well that's what I think as a boxing fan anyway. Every now and again a war is great - so long as noone is seriously hurt.

No. He means that he has honed his skill/style to a point where he doesn't have to take punishment. He says that as a rebuttal to people who say that he isn't an "exciting" fighter.

It means rather than show up at the post fight press conference with a swollen head, busted lips, bloody nose, and big dark sunglasses to answer questions -- it's better to work on improving your defense.

That's what I'm thinking as well. I mean, Mo**ey Mayweather has been talkin' this kind of talk for awhile now.

The man is terrified of getting hit. I agree with him, in that, there's nothing cool about playing the macho game of "I can take yours, but can you take mine" , he was basically referring to PAC's gameplan in the first few rounds against Cotto.

I really do wonder if he'll just plain quit when he ends up in a dogfight, and his reflexes can't win him the fight anymore.
