i want you to keep believing your theory---so when floyd ko's or tko's manny in 8 rounds or less---you'll understand a little better why floyd is leagues above cotto, hatton, oscar, and jmm....pac is getting stopped by floyd...you better believe it...

And how will he do this? If you possess the mental capacity, would you care to explain?

When a guy is coming at you with the foot speed that manny has shown in the past you have to let your hands go and make him pay while coming in. So that you he slows his rate. If manny shows the heart that he has in the past(ie. marquez 1&2) he will continue to come forward and thus take more punishment and Floyd's conditioning will make it possible.
pacquiao doesnt "just" come forward, he has more patience now, if youre still living in the times when he fought marquez well he had moved on and fought other fighters. and each time we, at least i, saw improvements. manny counterpunches too, and he also have fast hands, some say even faster than floyd. floyd should not be overconfident of his speed, the worst mistake floyd can commit is to underestimate pacquiao because he can ko floyd even in the first round. i got this feeling that pacman will do more baiting and counterpunching, hell not rush in just like that, hell wait for opportune time to pressure floyd. hell do a lot of feinting to confuse floyd. the unpredictability of manny and the angles will give him advantages over floyd.

If you really believe Pac can't be hurt by Mayweather go get your head examined. Dude wobbled DLH with 10 oz gloves @ 154 with......... you guessed it, short counter punches that you don't see coming.

wobbled hoya?.........he could'nt even finish jmm at his weakest and slowest weight.........floyd aint got nothing to seriously hurt packy but packy does and that is why floyd will run all night which might save him from getting ktfo.......

So true... Good post. He tried to come in on Marquez after the knockdown and JMM checked him with two hooks, after that Floyd went back to doing his thing... jab, potshot, hold, run.

To suggest that Floyd can't possibly hurt Pac, and that Pac will just walk through him is naive at the very least. These are professional fighters but they're only human and can be hurt.

Saying Cotto didn't hurt him so Floyd can't either is also naive. Cotto is much much slower than Floyd, and only really has the left hook as a power punch and Pac could see that coming a mile away (yet still got tagged by it a few times).

Floyd will NOT be throwing 10 punches a round in this fight, he simply will have to be a lot more active as Pac will keep coming forwards, but the accuracy and speed of Floyd's counters could well start to accumulate on Pac in the later rounds.

I also think Pac could hurt Floyd and quite possibly will at some point in the fight, but to suggest it's a walkover for either fighter or that PAC can't be hurt is ridiculous and biased.
