Can't really blame Pac for rejecting Staples Center. $3-$5 million is more than any other fighter makes in one fight. And doesn't it go both ways? Mayweather will also be taxed by the same amount, so it's a fair assumption he wouldn't agree to it as well.

Mayweather accepted the terms, I believe he wants to make this fight. It's the biggest payday he can have than any other opponent now and in the near future.

Right now, with the current scraps of info we read, I am inclined to think GBP is the one screwing around, not Mayweather or Pac.

Dumbass. Dont you understand that was 11% additional taxes on top of 30% taxes on non-resident alien that pac has to pay for his fight in USA?. Even even an average person will not accept that.

This foolishness needs to stop does anyone think the fight will take place in somewhere other than Vegas?

These other parties trying to get the scoop on the fight are just wasting time.

koncz is not that bright though.

if it's state and city taxes he's talking about why is he talking about the irs.

            maybe they misquoted him?

maybe not. he is a moron.

I haven't read the entire thread but i am wondering if the fight is in CA don't both boxer have to agree with the California State Athletic Commission? CA is one of the few states that does Random Drug Testing on both MMA and Boxers.

I think to make the fight special it should be in New Orleans or somewhere else. Poor celebs would have to leave the west coast to see it.

He has fought in michigan, Cali, fla, and atlantic city just top of my head. As big as this event is , would be great to have the fight in a stadium though.

a historic fight like this HAS to be at the most traditional prize fight destination, Las Vegas, NV.
