Golata Brewster how do they stack up?

I am seriously considering buying tickets to see this fight because I think that it will last the distance but I have never really seen Brewster fight...does this fight have the makings of a Golota Byrd type match?

i still dont know much about the guy other than that he is a champ and his last win was pretty controversial. how much do the tickets cost? brewster could be worth it but i dont like galata.

I am seriously considering buying 1000$ tickets to see 2 fighters 1 of which I have never seen before and the other I dont like. hmmmm You must be a pretty hardcore boxing fan then. Pay for any fight that comes your way front row.

Brewster vs Golota is going to be more like Drederick Tatum vs Homer Simpson than Golota vs Byrd. But dont count on Golota collapsing from exhaustion like Simpson's opponents do. I might get 35$ ticket and just go for the atmosphere of a live boxing event and get drunk. The undercard on this event is decent Briggs vs Adamek and there will probably be like 4 other fights.

It would be cool if they had this boxing event at Wrigley Field instead of the United Center.

Ringside seats are only 500, not 1000

Anyone know how many seats are still left?

I ordered mine the minute they came out...

I'm not sure what a "Golota-Byrd" type fight is... If you mean Golota pounding the champ on the ropes and the other guy trying to counter, yes this one has the makings - that's how Brewster fought Meehan much of the time. But he's not as quick as Byrd...I thought Brewster lost the Meehan fight.

I still can't get over the fact that Golata almost unified the WBA and IBF.

he wouldn't have gotten the WBA shot if he'd won the IBF...
