Rubbish. Oscar avoided southpaws for almost his entire career for a reason. A super-fast southpaw like Manny at 147? Oscar gets annihilated. The version of Oscar who fought Hopkins at 156 or whatever it was, he loses just as badly too.

Look at this. What a joke:

DLH's best years were at @ 147 so I see him getting a UD vs 147 floyd (SD years after prime!?!)

DLH definately would be more dangerous to Pac in his prime @ 147 but I think if pac had the same gameplan he'd still beat him but it'd be a very late tko or UD (leaning to decision). Even in his prime DLH had troubles with fast southpaws and I think its safe to say (after Cotto fight) Pac would be able to take DLH's punches unless he was careless.

Only difference was hardly anybody expected Pac to have a chance.

Looked like a Joe Calzaghe impression to me.

Your logic almost got me, but I realized you're saying DLH of 2004 would lose to Pacquiao of 2004.

I disagree. During DLH's prime years, Pacquiao was knocking out bums in the Philippines. Prime DLH vs Prime Pacquiao, DLH would box and rupture both Pacquiao's ears off, at 147.

Oscar had every advantage from gloves to weight in the fight and still lost...

We're talking about a prime WW Pacquiao, like the version that beat Oscar and Cotto. No version of Oscar is beating this version of Pacquiao. IMO. I never rated Oscar as highly as most do though.

Not quite. Not as effective as the Windmill of Death.
