You people are fools, khan spoke very well of his support in his most recent fight and is probably talking about going to america for largely financial reasons.

The reason why the press and people didn't like him was because he was over hyped. The press in england love over hyping people just so they can later undermine them. It's not a race issue. England isn't America where everything is about ****ing race ffs

Khan is already a superstar. He has PPV without doing anything special IMO.

Khan thinks him not being white prevented him becoming a superstar. What does he think him going to America is going to be any different, Americans care more about race than British

I would be feeling like Khan too if I trained in Hollywood.

Home is home of course. It's a lot nicer when home is sunny all the time and filled with beautiful women everywhere you turn.

You can't generalise in america because it is so big, england is much smaller. There are without a doubt very...very backward and racist places in the states, much worse than anything in Britian.

I have lived in both countries for an equal amount of time, lived in California, which I suppose you can compare to england in terms of size, I would say california is more *******, definitely. There are so many different types of people from all over the world that racism and race in general is much less of a big deal.

In england I would say there is an underlying racist attitute towards ethnic minority. I could see why khan would want to move, after all he has been there long enough to know what its all about. I don't think this is just about that anyway, his quality of life is prob much better in LA. Come on! Where would you rather live? Bolton? I think not.

I agree, Khan is a 'superstar' (if there is such a thing in the UK), I'm not sure what he's expecting, a Hatton-like following so early in his career?

or maybe it's just the boo boys getting to him.

Look that article was very swayed, he took the bait. The title is not a reflection of what came out of his mouth, the article doesn't show the question which was asked, which was something like..."There have been various sections of crowds in you recent fights that have booed during your fights, what do you think about that"?

His reply was honest, probably too honest, he was right. His reply was, you know maybe if he was white he wouldn't be getting that, maybe everyone would be behind him, and he would be a bigger superstar. They journalists like they do focused on the latter part of this answer and completely sensationalised what khan was trying to say, it is his own fault that he got suckered in by it, but its probably something he has wanted to get off his chest for a while.

If you constantly read really vile, racist remarks about you on youtube, and the internet wouldn't you be a little paranoid too? Thing is...he isn't being paranoid there are people out there who hate him, want him to lose because he is pakistani, and that is sad.

                    A very reasoned response. Props.

Most of our big cities are crap. I went to Europe about 12 years ago. Visited London and some surrounding areas and Paris and Normandy and surrounding areas. Heathrow airport had some of the kindest most professional people I have ever met. Charles du Gaulle airport had very professional people as and very polite staff. The contrast when I came home was so stark that I felt embarrassed. Admittedly it's because I flew out of Newark airport (craphole) and not Philadelphia, but man alive were the people in newark rude that day!

Yeah well how long did you spend there? Where did you go? LA is huge and just like any other major city it's got good and bad points. You can make a point for most of London being a dump, but there are nice parts. I have lived in California for 10 years, and Surrey the rest. You could argue a case either way I suppose depending on your personal experience. But let me tell you something beyond dispute, LA is nicer than bolton
