What if, and I know it's a big if given Floyd's tactics...but what if Floyd gets severely damaged, shows heart and eventually KOs Pacquiao. Anything can happen right? I mean even die-hard Pacquiao fans were giving props to Cotto for his valor against Pacquiao. Would they do the same for Floyd? Or, what if Floyd loses in the same manner as Cotto? I hope that people on both sides would give respect to both fighters if (more like when with Pacquiao) both show hearts of champions on fight night. I am very much looking forward to this.

I don't like Pacquiao, but he is great fighter.. He proved me wrong with Hatton and Cotto fights, where i believed he will get KO'ed. And i don't like Floyd even more than Pacquiao.

Still, i think that Pacman can't beat Floyd! Floyd is just to technical, and to fast to get caught. He won't be pulled into a brawl, he will use tactic and speed to dethrone Pacquio.

What I mean is, can't I root for Mayweather or Pac and still be a Cotto fan? I'd hate to think that Hatton's fans stopped being Hatton fans just because he lost and isn't fighting.

I am a fan of a great many boxers, some who are fighting and some who are not fighting. Cotto's career and performances hold no sway over my opinions of other fighters. The performance of one boxer will never change my opinion of the other.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I oversimplify things. What gets me is that because Cotto lost to Pacquiao it means I am automatically rooting for Floyd as a result. In my case it is coincidence, not cause and effect.

I'm hoping Pac KTFO Floyd in brutal fashion.

I'm still stinging from the Cotto loss but I'll root for Pac to destroy the Fraudster..

I hear you. I do see that happening a lot in boxing though. Most likely not in this case as Cotto fans would be far more likely to head to Pac's corner than Mayweather's simply on the grounds that Pac is more similar in fighting style, and most Cotto fans seem to have a strong dislike for Mayweather.

One thing I noticed on this board, after Cotto's lost to Pacquiao *******s are classy enough not to rub it in to Cotto nuthuggers who bashed and gave Pacquiao the midget little chance to win the fight.
