Is Victor Ortiz the next Francisco "Panchito" Bajado?

Francisco Bojado turned pro at 18 and was a red hot prospect. But perhaps he wasn't mature enough for the big time. His heart just wasn't in it.
    Sound familar?

I see what you mean. But wasnt bajados first loss to someone that wasnt so good? Maidana is a good fighter. Ortiz is just a pretty boy. Hes gotta get over looking ugly and getting hit. Haha

Ortiz may not reach the top but he's 10x better than Bojado was

Hope not. I like Victor and his story and the passion w/which he fights. Panchito was fun to watch, but it offended me that though he grew and trained in Ca he repped Mexico in the Olympics. In retrospect, I wish better luck for VO than I did for Bojado baboso...oops...

I see him and Amir Khan both as guys who are dangerously close to having their stories be over before they begin. Thats one of the dangers with guys who show this much promise this early: you put them out there to get hurt earlier. Both guys already have embarrassing/damaging losses, as young as they are thats dangerous if your trying to create a star.
          Then again, look at Pacquiao.
