I know, I know I can't believe I forgot to put Tyson up there to. I thought I did or it might have just slipped. Cause I loved rooting for the bad guy but he has to be BAD ASS!!! Not that I don't like rooting for Gentlemen's like Alexis 'El Flaco' Arguello but then again he was also BAD ASS!!!

If this is the case, then count me in as a pacfan. I first heard of Manny's rise to stardom when my mom visited me here in England back in 2007. She said Pacquiao has a fight coming up (Barrera 2) and I replied, "Pacquiao who? is he still fighting?". I asked because back when I was still in the Philippines circa 1990's I have already heard of his name. I was surprised to hear from her that he is still active and fighting. "Oh, yes! and he is very popular now in the Philippines." that is when I started following Manny's career and eventually became a full boxing fan.

Boxing for me is now my favourite sport. I dont even watch football anymore (no.1 sport in the UK), and now find it (football) boring. I only watch tennis, basketball and those few and controversial and hyped MMA matches.

As a pacfan, I now have 38 videos of his 55 career fights. And as a boxing fan, i have already accumulated 200+ videos of past and recent fights. Including those of Floyd Jr, Cotto, Dela Hoya, Mosley, Ali, Gatti, Pryor SRL, Hagler, Duran, Tyson, Lewis etc. and numerous boxing documentaries and boxing-inspired movies.

I even had a channel for boxing fans at justin.tv a while ago, but constant channel closure made me decide to stop broadcasting. It wasnt worth it. (I only broadcasted past fights and didnt broadcast live but HBO kept shutting me down).

So going back to the thread title, I consider myself a pacfan but who can blame them if Manny's fans become *******s eventually. He is just that exciting to watch!

Good post man, I can't believe we have to differtiate ourselves to so called '*******s' because he is the reason we started to watch and be interested in boxing or that Pacquiao is just our favorite boxer right now. I guess I have a better appreciation now how Floyd's fans feel of being called *****s or whatever else.

A Pacman fan likes him as a fighter and enjoys watching him perform, is among his favourites, maybe even his number 1. A Pacman nut licker verbally kills anyone who even dares to suggest that Pacman isn't the best fighter in the history of the world and they believe he could step up and knock out Pavlik perhaps.
