    David Tua's chances

    John Ruiz
    Hasim Rahman
    Michael Moorer
    Oleg Maskaev

These 4 were able to be declared as "Champion" and All of them were Kayoed by Tua

How come Tua got only one chance at a belt as of this time? Even the old Vander keeps getting chances so is Ruiz. Even Oquendo has fought for a belt twice already.

How unlucky can you get? what does he ned to do to get another shot?

Nobody wants to fight him because the risk is too high and the reward too small.

john ruiz - already had 27 fights as a pro by the time he fought david tua. ruiz had won 7 fights in a row and 6 by ko/tko right before his loss to david tua.

hasim rahman - was 29-0 going into his fight with david tua and was highly ranked. both guys were top ranked by the ibf and was fighting an eliminator to challenge for the ibf belt.

oleg maskaev - was only in his 12th fight with david tua but remember oleg maskaev started his pro career late. he didn't turn pro 'til he was in his mid 20's until after the fall of the soviet union. oleg maskaev was fighting in the soviet union since the 1980's.

michael moorer - was certainly past his best but was still a good fighter. he had just comeback and fought 5 fights in 1 1/2 years. he beat 2 good , solid heavyweights in robert davis and terrance lewis right before fighting david tua.
