First off let me say that Nolan was a garbage opponent and had nothing to offer him, i know.
Conditioning - Povetkin has always had great stamina but he seemed to have lost some of his fat and tightened up. Improving on his all around conditioning will only help his game that much more.
Punching - Sasha has always lacked 1 punch power but he does have some pop. In this fight i thought that his handspeed and power seemed to be better than usual. His shots landed alot more crips and they looked to have more steam on them.
Combo's - One of his strength has always been his combination punching. In the past though i feel like he'll start pushing his punches sometimes, focusing on simply getting off and not paying attention to the quality of each punch.
He threw combo's as usual but each shot seemed to be crisp and quality. Now it only went 3 rounds so maybe that would have changed in the mid to late rounds but it seems like he's working on that.
Movement - quite often he'd step off to the side then let his punches go rather then just walking straight in. Using some lateral movement and upperbody movement when coming in is the most important thing his game needs, especially vs Volodymyr. Hopfully he keeps working on it.
Now as most on here know i'm not a fan of Teddy but i'm willing to give him a shot, keep an open mind, and remain optimistic until he proves otherwise. He seems to be doing a good job with this first outing.
