    Heavyweight prospects

    Hey people..

Last weekend was a great weekend for us boxing fans...

In america there was Williams-Martinez, in the Uk Khan-Salita.

So i am aware(and can understand) that you were all busy.. But just wondering if any of you got a chance to watch the Sauerland event from Germany on Saturday?? The main event was Marco Huck-Ola Olafobi, which was a good, close and entertaining fight.

Now im not ******, and had the Khan-Salita show had live coverage here in Denmark, that would have been my first priority. Sadly, it was not, so i had to settle with with the fights from germany.

Then, to my surprise, on the undercard was Alexander Povetkin vs Leo Nolan. Povetkin has long been a favorite of mine, so i was very pleased.

And he looked very sharp, had lost several pounds and fought a great fight, that ended pretty quick with a third round knockout. He is looking at a shot at Wladimir next summer.

I dont know if he can beat Wladimir(currently, i dont think so, but who can?) but i think hes got a better shot than Arreola(perhaps the best american prospect, until a few months ago) had at his brother. He allready beat Chambers, so i feel pretty confident when claiming he is the best prospect in the heavyweight division.

    Thoughts???

And also, Denis Boytsov looks very promising, yall heard of him? Check his fight vs Taras *****ko, a fairly highly ranked former contender, to see hes the real deal. Not very tall, but certainly fast and powerfull.

Feel free to disagree people, and please enlighten me if im overlooking somebody(im still considering both Arreola and Chambers to be good prospects, both with a good chance of having a belt someday)

I really thought that Chazz Whiterspoon would be the guy in the future of the heavyweight division. Chris A did his thing against him when they fought. Chris is the guy that many ppl are banking on to be the guy in the division and he is still young. I mean, he lost his first fight to the heavyweight champ, there isn't any shame in that. He just has to work harder and he will get another opportunity.

Eddie Chambers is pretty good as well.

I'de say Eddie Chambers is the best American HW when he is 100% focused like in his last fight...
