Everyone knows Mayweather can dish it @ press conferences.Roach has first hand experience of Mayweather's wrath when he trained Oscar DelaHoya for the loss.Oscar himself couldnt take it and Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao's press conferences were going to be great as well.

Imagine the guys having to face each other in LA,New York,Vegas and London,Pacquiao and Roach being remined by Floyd and Ellerbe and Roger how inferior they are and how Floyd's gonna knock Pacquiaio out.

So Pacquiao couldnt take the heat and he chickened out of press conferences.
