Just as there is really no major reason for this post, there is no major reason for Hopkins to jump for a Tito rematch other than money. Hopkins is in the driver's seat. I am just tired of those saying Hopkins is scared and ducking a man he turned into a boy September of 2001.

When I posted the "court transcripts" thread I was not trying to imply Hopkins was scared, for the record. I think it is a possibility that he was unsure of himself, but just as likely if not more that he thought he deserved more of the money in the next go-round.
There are obviously only a few feasible options that Hopkins can choose and still retain dignity after he himself said he is only seeking mega fights for the end of his career. This means that the only way he can excuse himself from not fighting Tito this year is if he fights:
Jermain Taylor
Glen Johnson
Winky Wright
You can possibly add Sturm and Tarver to that list. In any case, there are several fighters BHOP can fight and gain respect from. He just better do it...or not bull**** like he is going to.
