B.Hop would beat Haye....there's no doubt in my mind!!!.....I am absolutely 100% positive that IF this fight happens.....Haye will get schooled!!.....and I will be rich!!.....B.Hop would be a HEAVY underdog!!

what's so funny about that? He is after all 45 years old and a light heavyweight. The fact that people think he has at least a slim chance speaks volumes about old man hopkins himself.

Have the same poll and ask what Chad Dawsons chances winning a HW title are, probably would be the same results if not much worse, after all hopkins has a chin and Dawson has been on a ***** street a number of times against much weaker punchers in his own division.

The Klitschkos are far too big for Hopkins.

I give Hopkins a small chance against Haye. If he can avoid getting hit and counter effectively, he can win.

This will be like Haye with a good chin against Valuev. But this time Valuev can hit fast, hard and in combinations! This is way too much for Bhop.

He has no chance against the current belt holders.

Slim chance. His punch and clinch wouldnt work because those heavyweights are way to big for all that. Hes not going to hurt any of those guys. and will bounce off when he tries to clinch. lol....to much. bernard is great but hes not that good..lol

lol...it doesn't say s**t about hopkins, but the fact that the only people that think hopkins has a slim chance against haye or any top 10 heavyweight are hopkins ballickers....above that, why would anyone besides a hopkins ballicker give hopkins a chance against a good heavyweight, when he refuses to fight guys his size in his own division...

chinny or not, at least dawson has a solid track record against fighters in his own division, and holds a victory over adamek, who is in the heavys...yeah hopkins chin looks great against the 3 divisions smaller oscars of the world, but what true lightheavy or cruiser has really cracked him?....jones tested his chin against a heavy...james toney seems to be holding his own...10 years ago we asked for hopkins to fight people his own size, to no avail...maybe this thread would be a little more legit had he moved up to 175 when guys like james toney, michael nunn, mike mccallum, pre-tarver roy, etc. were still hovering around....as it stands, we're still waiting for hopkins to fight a guy his size with equal talent, so talking about top heavys is a joke....

I think it's because Hopkins was the betting underdog a number of times but ended up winning many of those fights convincingly. Most recently the Pavlik fight where Hopkins won by a clearly dominating performance. I think it's unlikely he could pull it off, but you never know. What's perhaps more plausible is that Haye could turn out to be the first boxer to KO Hopkins.
