i think sergior martinez might knock james kirkland out cold i dont think that james kirkland is ready he doesnt really have that much experienece against good fighters besides that julio guy but even that ..sergio martinez has fought antonio margarito when he was younger and lost by knock out and has fought kermit cintron and the punisher paul williams

Neither has a deep resume so I don't think that would be a factor in the fight at all. I don't think Sergio has the stamina, length or consistent jab to keep Kirkland off him

This is a fight HBO has to make in 2010. Another possible FOTY. SOmeone who is more relentless and give more pressure then PW. WOuld love to see how Sergio use his slickness with his hands down verse Kirkland.

Kirkland should get out in June. So hopefully he can get 2 big fights in 2010 against titlist. For the sake of the rest of 154 division I hope jail didn't make him more ruthless...lol

Martinez. I think it'd be similar to the Williams fight, where SM gets past a leaky defence repeatedly, although Kirland carries more pop than Williams. However, Kirkland has nowhere near the stamina of Williams, and I would expect Martinez to hold on for a UD.

martinez would have to ko kirkland...cause the pressure he puts on him would only increase throughout the fight...but i'm really liking martinez after the p.will fight...hard to say...but i'd give it to kirkland if martinez doesn't stop him...
