  • My Manny Pacquaio vs Floyd Mayweather ROUND by ROUND(s) breakdown.

This is how I see it.

    ROUNDS 1-3
will be Manny coming on strong, throwing combination and maybe even landing a hard shot to make Floyd look uncomfortable. The crowd will obviously be on his side as he seems to have chance and tool set to beat Floyd right now.

    ROUND4
I see this time of the fight to be the point in which people realize, that even with the excitement and close calls of the first 3 rounds, that Manny just cannot figure Floyd's defense and counter punching out. Manny will look to throw his fast flurries, but while his plodding opponents like Cotto and Diaz stand in awe, Mayweather will be out of there.

    ROUNDS 5-10
Manny maybe wins a round as Floyd may have to work a bit harder in this fight to defend vs Manny's relentless aggression and speed. Floyd does take off rounds. But I see Floyd taking most of them with crisp counter punching as his confidence grows, more lead right hands and left hooks. Though many of them may be partially blocked as Manny keeps his hands up.

    ROUNDS 11
Manny continues to try landing hard shots as Floyd keeps catching him with counter punches while avoiding Manny's best. The crowd is still on Manny's side in hopes for one big Hattonesque shot.

    ROUND 12
More of a great effort from Manny as Floyd is just to on top of his game and holding Manny throughout the round. Floyd catches Manny with a couple more hard counters and begins to open up. Roach looks to be about to stop the fight, but Manny's heart keeps him throwing punches. 10 second mark, Floyd raises his hands, moves away. Bell rings. Floyd rubs Manny's head.

    Floyd jumps on the ropes.

Steward calls the win impressive, but vs a smaller guy. And says that Floyd needs to fight a TRUE welterweight like Mosley.

Then you know how that goes. Floyd beats Mosley and Steward says Floyd needs to fight a true, BIG welterweight that's not of Mosley's age and that Mosley was 135lbs even though Floyd was too.

WICKED ANALYSIS ALTHOUGH I DO THINK pAC GOES DOWN ONCE IN THE 9TH ROUND AND ROACH STOPS IT IN THE END OF 10 OR MIDDLE OF 11..MARK MY WORDS

ROUND 1 - Floyd gets his ass kicked

        Repeat for 6 rounds.

The same thing happens in Floyd vs. Any Legit Welterweight.

Just for fun here's mine: (subject to change as I convince myself I'm wrong time and time again before the fight)

Round 1: Low activity round, Mayweather wins due to establishing a strong jab and maybe clocking Pac with a nice counter at some point.

          Mayweather 10-9 Pacquiao

Round 2 & 3: Manny starts to open up and wins the two rounds based on aggression, but doesn't really hurt Mayweather who is constantly on the move. Floyd will land the cleaner shots but there is no follow up.

          Mayweather 28-29 Pacquiao

Round 4 - 6: Mayweather takes two Manny takes one. Again, Mayweather is landing the more spectacular single shots but Pacquiao is throwing 3, 4, 5 punches at a time and making the crowd go wild.

          Mayweather 57-57 Pacquiao

Round 7 - 9: Mayweather reestablishes the jab and masterfully keeps Pacquiao at bay while landing lead hooks and straight rights. Now he's starting to throw a second or even third when he connects.

          Mayweather 87-84 Pacquiao

Round 10: Pacquiao steps on the gas after Roach reads the riot act and has more success this round partially due to Mayweather testing the waters for a KO. When Mayweather engages he's met with a flurry and while he's never in serious trouble he loses the round.

          Mayweather 96-94 Pacquiao

Round 11 & 12: Mayweather rectifies the mistakes he made in 10 and goes back into safety first mode, winning the two rounds simply by nullifying Pacquiao's offense. Not many great punches landed by either man in the last 6 minutes except maybe the home stretch where Pacquiao really throws the kitchen sink at Mayweather, leaving himself open to dazzling counters.

          Mayweather 116-112 Pacquiao
