1) to beat pac you gotta back him up, that's what morales did

2) to draw or get a close fight w/ pac you gotta counterpunch w/ pac

3) to last 12 rounds with pac, you gotta run

4) the right hand is not key, but you do need it. to beat pac imho, you gotta be a big puncher. styles makes fights: puncher beats swarmer

looking at the pattern of pacs fights against JMM and morales, pac would try to overwhelm Morales/JMM with his sharp and fast punches, and Morales and JMM , after withering the assault with his great defensive capability and remarkable durability, would storm back with lead rights and left hooks that would effectively drive pac into brief tactical defensive posture, forcibly backpedaling him at sometimes.

that was the blue print, that pacs backing up agaisnt morales you were saying was just the result of it. the key was the right hand when played in a perfect counterpunching gameplan.

its high work rate that beats defensive people imo. pac will be swarming all over floyd and that forces floyd into a fight. pac will be eating lots of jabs and shots from floyd but we all know that wont bother him at all. cotto hits harder that floyd and pac just walked thru cottos best shots. sooner or later, pac will get to floyd sooner or latter into the fight. and when he does...

You assume that Mayweather will either not get hit or will take Pacquaio's punches like they don't mean ****. Mayweather will get tagged, slowmo Baldomir tagged him, I'm sure Pacquaio will too, and when Mayweather gets hit, repeatedly, he'd have an "oh ****" moment.

I agree with both of you in some way. I don't think Mayweather can just take Pac's shots IF Pac lands clean and often. But this is PBF not Mayorga or Margarito. Can Pac tag him enough and with enough clean shots? Which was my initial point.

I'll even go one better and say that if Pac can make PBF work hard in the early rounds the better it is for him since he is use to and proven at doing it.

I think everyone agree's the more of a fight it becomes the better it is for Pac. I think it has shown that punch for punch Pac can probably take PBF's shot better than PBF can probably take Pac's.

The problem is PBF is notorious/famous at staying out of fights and making it into less fan friendly boxing matches.

easy fight for floyd i keep reading comments like pac is gonna cover him in punches but its not gonna happen.
pac footwork means **** in this fight because floyd footwork is better and more blanced
pacs speed is not going to be a huge problem because floyd speed is close to pac speed.
most importantly floyds reach advantange is going to keep pac the hell away from floyd
floyd counters better and is smarter then pac.
if roach even thinks that pac has a chance to outbox floyd he really on that crack.
pac only has a punchers chance but since he needs to do it in bunches thats not going to happen etheir.
just like jmm looked like a fool, pac will look even more like a fool.
