Haye received essentially the same contract from Valuev.

          erm no
sauerland have a 3 fight option on haye but they dont dictate who he fights , they take a slice of the pie from who he fights which is standard procedure when a promoter offers 1 of hes world champions when hes not obligated 2

No doubt it would be a huge fight.

Haye can bore Vitali to death like he did with Valuev, and he wouldn't be pressed by Vitali like Valuev did. Vitali will stay outside, Haye can move inside/outside without getting hit, if he never get careless Vitali will be an easy fight for him.

If Vitali is going to press Haye we have another situation if he fail to do it he may gas out, and would be in epic trouble.

Wladimir, has that scientific jab that would kill Haye.

Haye is hillarious man I like him he brings a bit of fun and swagger to the Heavyweight division. His comment about "a million dudes named Kevin Johnson" cracked me up, and the bit about them being big in Switzeland "and so are yodellers". He's a funny guy.

Has anyone ever seen the contract?

With no evidence this is nothing more but a rumour.

Let's see how many title defenses DH will put up next year.

Vitali defends his title a third time within a year. If Haye falls into the same rhythm (one fight every 3-4 months), he might even have cleared his DonKing/Sauerland mandatories within a year and be free to negotiate with Vitali. Before Vitali retires.

I doubt he will enter the ring with either Klitschko in the opposing corner. Instead of re-negotiating the contract after Setenta went belly-up, he had an injury. I assume, K2 Promotion would have given him a share of the German cake, if he had openly discussed the situation.

The contracts are rather standard, except for the rematch-clauses. And since DH announced he would mop the floor with the Klitschkos, the rematch-clauses would have been THE way to secure fights with both of them.
