It does continue the path of choosing featherfisted opponents.
Feather Fisted for sure Khan should fight Paulie if he wants to draw some fans...iHe should fight the winner of the Diaz Paulie fight after he fights Spadafora...lefty

That would be an interest fight with either. It would be his first slick boxer type of opponent or his first real steam plow type of opponent.

        people still crying..

this is an UNDERCARD fight to introduce Khan on a global stage as Roach's "project"..

        this isn't a headline fight.

I wanted to see khan fight Maidana but hopefully that happens down the year!

Spadafora vs Khan is not bad at all for an undercard. Frank Warren could have easily just make this it's own PPV in England. Instead it may happen in Vegas on March 13th along alongside the most awaited fight, arguably, in this decade.

If this is true, great way to start an undercard. I'm looking forward to other interesting fights to be on the Mayweather-Pacquiao card. Let's hope to see Victor Ortiz, Judah, and Donaire also fight good opponents(at least on paper) if they even fight on that card. Cornelious Lock is another exciting fighter from Mayweather Promotions. His fight in Number One Numero Uno was far from boring.

What stands out in Spadafora's resume is his last decent/good opponent he fought was Angel Manfredy UD12 after that he beat some guy that was 43-1 but I never heard of him, and he also beat 2 undefeated but untested fighters. Long story short, both Spadafora & Khan have never faced elite fighters so I guess they're even, with Paul having the edge in overall experience. Pretty good match up if you ask me.

Spadafora did school mayweather though once upon a time. And I'm sure he was on the verge of fighting someone pretty decent until he went to jail.

Still, he is older now and not the same fighter. I wouldn't want this fight on the undercard to be honest.

Khan vs Judah or no khan at all. I can think of more exciting fights

You honestly can't expect Amir Khan to fight someone on the level as Judah or Ortiz, its just an undercard fight for him to introduce him to the states.

Everyone knows the fight Pacquiao vs Mayweather is set to break records, what a perfect way to introduce him.
It also works in Pacquiao & Mayweather's favour, as it will get the attention of the UK fans to tune into this.

You have to remember Khan will not have the full attention of Roach's, so he will have a green corner.
When Khan does have the full attention and training time he needs from Freddie Roach (who has improved him) at that time i fully can understand anyone who questions his choice of opponents as its time for him to step up.

You are right in saying their are better undercard fights out their, but they can't expose the interest to the UK fans.

no way this is happening. Roach is going to give Pac his undivided attention.
