Berto a sparring partner? I think not! The man has one of the biggest if not the biggest fight of his career coming up. I doubt very seriously if he would even consider being Pacquaio's sparring partner. Especially since Pacquaio's a welter weight now and if the both of them win we could possibly see a matchup between the two of them in the future.

The difference is Marquez counters with combos. Unless Floyd does the same I don't see it being easy. Throwing one or two potshots won't cut it.

Berto isn't a bad pick at all; think closely. Berto's hand speed is on par with Mayweather's. Berto also clinches. In that aspect, Berto is a perfect sparring partner.

This is why Manny is really dangerous. Whatever his short comings are as a boxer, Roach covers for with sparring to sim the real fight as best as possible. For a single night he has an I.Q. up there with the best of them because of preparation.

Have you ever seen Berto fight?? Do you really think his style is similiar to Mayweather's?? He has speed but hitting him is very easy.
