That would be unwise because Berto is close to Mayweather. I would be surprised if they really use Berto.

Looks like the Pacquiao camp is pulling out all the stops. Sparring with Khan and Berto would go a long way towards getting Manny ready.

I hope Floyd is taking this fight seriously and has some good sparring planned as well.

Berto is fast, but he doesn't mirror Floyd at all. In fact he sucks... Manny will be stunning Berto all day long. Collazo had him on ***** street, and this is the same guy that was scared to death of a 140 pounder (though admittedly still a world champion). Roach would do better sticking with Khan, the 122 pound phenom Guillermo Rigondeaux, Joan Guzman, and if they were to hit a homerun, maybe Corey Spinks.

Other than Berto's great speed and pretty decent strength, he has little semblance to Mayweather. He is not slick and he can't fight on the inside, all he does similar is that he pot shots constantly. Khan will already bring all that and Amir's faster too.

This is just a pipe dream anyway. Berto won't be in much condition for sparring after he gets abused by Shane.
