There is also the notion that every time Shane stepped up, with the exception of DLH 1, he lost. ( I dont count fights where fighters are guilty of using banned substances)

Is dragging a 36 year old natural Featherweight up to 147 and then not making weight a way of cheating too?

Yeah he lost to 2 guys that would of given Mayweather hell aswell, so even though that sounds bad its actually nothing to be ashamed of.

I am very interested in seeing how did you come to this line of thinking..
What logic did you used to compare Floyd fighting JMM to Shane using steroids,,,
          Remember JMM called out Floyd..
Nobody put a gun to JMM head.

i recall Mayweather after the Brusseles (which was at 140lbs) fight i believe CALLING OUT OSCAR & MOSLEY TO COME DOWN TO 147lbs to fight him....

            YOU LOSE!!!!!

Im not gonna get into all that. End of the day if you think Mayweather has not been guilty of avoiding the best fighters you are not worth talking to, fact.

Point im making is, Mosley has 5 losses because he fights the best, Mayweather has no losses because his best name on resume is J L Castillo and he should of lost the first fight.

Had Mosley not used steroids, maybe. But since he stooped that low to gain an athletic advantage to win, he does not. Mayweather's worst quality is the often portrayed villain that he has been known to play so well. Somebody has to be the bad guy. I mean, how else are the casual fans going to watch? Admit it thats the only reason why.

Either way, Mayweather>Mosley as far as a true representation of a boxing athlete.

Mosley fought the best, twice over.

He didn't have to fight Forrest, but he wanted to unify the 3rd title. He didn't have to fight Winky, but he wanted to unify the 3rd title. He was offered by HBO to fight Margarito or Berto, he chose Margarito.

And Floyd would've chosen Berto. He's a path of least resistance picking fighter.

notice that floyd & shane wasn't in the same weight class & once shane moved down floyd stopped asking for the fight.
