He talks a lot, yes, but it is the 21st century and the internet is the best way to garner interest in what you are selling, and it's also a way he can guarantee Wlad will see his rants and get him riled up.
Muhammad Ali talked a lot, brashly, only he never had the means of the internet, would you say the same about him? If you were selling a product (In Haye's case, tickets) would you sit on your hands or keep your name in the public eye (news and boxing forums) ??
I know how I'd play it.
On another note, by bumping these threads with David Haye's name in them, you are giving him exactly what he wants - publicity...... So you crack on my man.
But if I were doing exactly what your man wants, you wouldn't be upset about it, now would you?

Ali had wit and there was variety and creativity in his talk.
Haye is just a complete bore.
He's like Andrew Dice Clay, an obnoxious 1 trick pony with a short shelf life.
He wouldn't have said "I'm knocking out both Klitschkos in 2010" and then not fight them.
And Haye's talk seems to be motivated by envy and insecurity, while Ali's talk expressed his abundant self-confidence. and feelings of superiority. Haye is more vicious and hateful in his personal attacks.
This fight has been hyped for 2 years running. Everybody who would be remotely interested already knows about it and has heard Haye's monotonous ramblings 100 times already.
Anyone who isn't interested by now never will be.
Haye is trying to pump himself up, it seems, more than anything.

And Ali backed up his trash talk.
