Tsk tsk, lets not get carried away David. After an embarrassing display against Valuev, which to be frank, wasn't even nearly enough to dethrone a champion, you're already talking about taking on the world. Already have you once been so pathetic as to shamelessly duck and dodge the Klitchko's, but this time, for the good of the sport, we all hope that you will be exposed for the arrogant, glass jawed pretender that you are. Hopefully in true, devestating fashion.Comment

As for Haye, his "humor" must be a English thing, because I don't find him funny. Ali could be hilarious, sometimes. Even (Canadian) Lennox had a dry sense of humor. But Haye just comes off as puerile and ****** too much of the time. He can be lucid and interesting, but doesn't choose to be often enough.
The atheist cat pic is great, though.Comment

He was going to be the first guy to KO Valuev, too. Didn't happen. Instead he got a gift decision of the kind Valuev is often accused of getting. Haye is a human hot air balloon. After already walking away from two fights he didn't even deserve, I'd make Haye crawl through mud to fight me if I was Wlad or Vitali. Since Chagaev was technically the champ, not Valuev, the Klitschkos really do own all the belts now. Haye's belt is a joke belt, a toy trinket.Comment

Jim Watt is an honest man, I'd say. And I'm a crabby middle-aged man.

One thing about Haye: he makes loads of fans for fighters that nobody ever liked before. I'd never seen so many people rooting for Valuev, and the same thing is going to happen with Ruiz. I'd laugh my ass off if Ruiz laid Haye out cold. And now that the Quiet Man has sworn off his old, grab and clutch style, I can feel better about hoping he knocks Haye out. Haye seems to be looking right past Ruiz, listening to guys like Calzaghe tell him how easy that fight will be, and that is a big mistake. Ruiz certainly did better against Valuev than Haye did, and he didn't run from the giant, either.
I do agree that Haye is looking past Ruiz, and of course there is nothing more I would love to see than Haye doing the fish dance after a few shots to the kisser. Ruiz will be a tough test, however I see Haye doing enough to steal a victory. Although he might lose the fight, but still get the decision. Stranger things have happened.Comment

David just likes to get under his opponents skin with his "humour", it looks like it works.Last edited by COVID-19; 12-08-2009, 01:48 PM.Comment

David Gaye is the biggest fraud in Boxing. He's all talk. He already punked out of 2 Klitschko fights because he knows the score. Either Brother destroys the punk.Comment

At least he showed that he can stick to a gameplan.
btw. what happened to his hand injury, was it real or not?Comment
