Me too. I want Khan to fight good opposition, but Holt is just a bad motherfucker - Bradley won their fight, but he gave him hell at various points.

Hence, since I think I've said before that Holt beats Maidana, it should be the latter who Khan faces next. Jumping in with Holt now would be insane.

I mean Marquez did KO two boxers who had never been KO'd before just before he fought Mayweather - Joel Casamayor and Juan Diaz at light welter, in late 08 and early 09, and he lost a close SD to Pacquiao a fight before that.. I wonder if the Mayweather fight was a little deceptive in that Marquez just didn't have enough time to adjust to the weight? I think he proved himself pretty convincingly at light welterweight though..

marquez has never fought at LWW,the 2 fights you mentioned were at LW

id rather see him face a young guy too be honest,but marquez is a big name and i think at this point it could be the right fight for amir

My mistake, I meant lightweight.. At lw I think Marquez still beats Khan (assuming he hasn't got old overnight) but at lww, Khan's division of choice now, he might have a more realistic chance. I think Marquez would still have a good chance himself though. Might turn out to be a close SD like the last Pac fight at this stage.

at 140 id pick him too make marquez look as old as he is,i think the mayweather fight and the weight could have taken alot out of him
