So you rest your hopes on the 4th round or the Corley fight??? What about the other 11 rounds in this fight. I could rest my hopes on about 15-20 rounds in the fights with Marquez... 10-15 rounds in the fights with Morales.

Pacquiao will come forward... do you think Floyd cares if he stinks up the joint... but Pacquiao does... if Pacquiao wants to make it fight... he has to come forward...

Yes, sir he is... so is Mayweather... this is what makes it so intriguing... Cotto even though he landed in the later rounds can't punch hard if his feet aren't set... Mayweather punches fast even on the move like Pacquiao does... but Pacquiao ain't got the foot speed of Mayweather going backwards... it's the same with Hatton... he has very fast feet coming forward but not backwards that's why he always stands in the fire... the same with Pacquiao... I'm very interested to see as well if Pac can adapt... because I've never seen him do it... and then we will see if he really devoloped... his right hand has become an weapon... but all the other things boxing wise... you will see if he can stick to it if he feels he is loosing. To May it is natural... defense... moving... fighting 12 rounds... that's an advantage... you can teach someone something but sooner or later if confronted with adversity you have to see if it's true... as he hunted down he was very uncareful and simply wanted the KO... no real boxing anymore at times... we will see what happens if he does it with May.

My thoughts are that Manny will land some shots in the first few rounds until May figured which is the best way to fight him... and after he did that... it will get one sided and then we have to say if Roach's strategy works or if Manny can make him fight... Pacquiao has to use his speed to neutralize Floyd's elusiveness if he expects to win. I can't pick a winner in this fight. I just hope the winner gives Mosley a shot if Shane beats Berto so the real Welterweight champ can be crowned. I made a thread about this, but I think Pacquiao will retire if he beats Floyd. And there is a little bit of a possibility that Floyd may fight Mosley, but I doubt that too. He'll have too much money to retire on likely.

If it will be easy I don't know... when I say easy I mean UD or late stoppage... what happens until then in the first rounds is anybody's guess.

We will see what he really has learned. He developed his right hand and showed that he can box too and move... but you know to look lige the greatest fighter on earth against Diaz, DLH (in his shape at the time), Hatton (was only two rounds) doesn't mean that much. These were all guys that walked straight to him... to see how he devolped you have to see him in fights like Marquez or Mayweather. Against Cotto he did good too but lost his head a bit by rushing after him... and if Cotto can hit you while you're rushing at him... Mayweather can too.

That was a great uppercut... right on the button... but if that is proof for one shot power (you also have to remember that Cotto was down before, so he clearly had taken some shots) then Mayweather's KO of Hatton that he is also a one shot ko-artist. He also landed one punch and it was over... but of course he also softened him up before... like Pacquiao did Cotto... and let's not forget that Cotto got up and fought till the last round...

Of course it isn't about balls... every fighter should have some in the case they are needed. But every fighter fights to win and has a gameplan... Pacquiao ain't different... he also approached his fights different since moving up. He ain't jumped on opponents like he used to... and that's smart... if you can beat an opponent otherwise do it. If you can't do it otherwise then you will have to dig deep... and talking about balls and gameness... May has won many fights just with one hand and still easy in most cases... I don't know so many boxers that can beat others with just one hand... so even though he had some adversity... I never saw him quit or anything... so to me until proven otherwise he has balls and gameness... and only because he got hurt in a fight you think he ain't? Pacquiao got hurt too in fights and got his act together... and you won't question him or do you?

Tyson is a whole different story. If you are in prison... so long away from boxing... you are different. Tyson had not only a problem mentally... he also had a problem to train, was more into women then boxing and stop to develop himself... as he came out he fought no very good fighters and his manager thought that Holyfield is done... he got beaten... but Tyson is an whole different person.

Mayweather isn't mentally wise like Tyson. Mayweather never had a youth. So he is mentally when it comes to being an grown man and act as one far behind... But he is no Tyson... like said... Mayweather loves the sport and would never came into an fight half hearted like Mike did... or badly trained... two whole different persons... Tyson lived to a big degree from his aura... Mayweather ain't... nobody is scared of Mayweather because he is not the guy who will take your head off... he comes to box... so totally different and has nothing in common.

Although Floyd has improved greatly since then, but Corley did stun him against the ropes, and Zab for about 2 or 3 rounds easily frustrated and kept Floyd off balance. Not much to go on but is something i believe that camp PAC can build on including the Castillo fight.
