Berto and Mosley

can't wait for this fight and what a fight to start the year off. I'm not Berto's biggest fan but think he will give Mosley some problems later on. I'm gonna lean towards SMM to take it on a SD.

I tend to agree with you. Just watched some more of Berto, he looks even stronger then I thought. But if SSM loses, I think the age/prime card will be played, though I also think Mosley is way past prime... Berto looks like a stronger contender for the rest of the belts.

Im using this fight as a true measuring stick of Berto.. As everyone else is im sure...

Mosely kind of wild card at this stage in his career as far as the predictions go..
but im wondering exactly what is Bertos Gameplan since i dont count on him knocking him out or even really outboxing him for that matter.. yet he seems eerily confident

I havent really seen much talk about this bout but what are your thoughts on it? In my opinion I feel that SSM will beat Berto even with all of Berto's youth and power, the reason being is I feel experience always has the edge and its been proven these last few years for example, Diaz vs. Marquez, Hopkins vs. Pavlik etc. etc.

First let me start off by giving props to you for not cluttering this board with another “steroid manifesto.” There’s too much of this right now. That said I got Shane by UD only because I think Bero limited his potential with these spoon fed opponents one of which gave him a run for his buck (Collazo).

Experience will be a major factor in this fight. I see some similarity between these two fighters. Strong, fast and very ongoing. Their hits are heavy, but not one punchers. They simply hurt them through the fight and then end it. Though Berto has some vicious uppercuts, I think the straightline of SSM and experience will seal the deal. Late stoppage or wide UD.

I agree I just feel overall experience will win this fight so I'm going with Shane
