ya, Trinidad is good, but i'm sure if he wasn't puerto rican he wouldnt have had half the fans he does...

But then if Tito didnt have a his PR following boxing there wouldnt have been a fight of the millenium which got a crapload of money. And boxing probably would not be as popular in the world in general, he is worshiped in Puerto Rico. And if he was American he wouldnt be as famous.

Trinidad is a phenomenon here in PR, but some people say that during Wilfredo Gómez' heyday, it was similar.

I like Tito, but I like when fighters are exposed. In this case, it would be more damaging to him to be totally outboxed for 12 rounds.

Everybody will view him as one dimensional. If he were kayoed, Tito fans would claim it's a fluke. Getting outboxed for 12 rounds is no fluke. It's humiliating.

You don't need to be condescending and I don't need to revise my statement. I just hate when people post things as if they were a fact when they don't have a clue about what they are talking about. And I guess you are one of those who talk without knowing because you do not provide any facts as to why I should revise my statement. It is not my fault that the school system that Konstanstine attended sucks.

                  want some proof?

Heres one random cite i found: http://www.elboricua.com/BoricuaKids_PuertoRicoUSA.html

Wheres your proof showing im wrong?

I guess you must be like in fifth grade or self-schooled. The so called proof that you bring don't prove anything. I guess you were thinking that I would not look at the link like this other guy that defended you. That's the problem people belive stuff when ignorants post their opinions but don't say it's their opinion and not fact. There is no draft in the U.S. Army, therefore the Army does not "draft" from Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico's Army is the same Army that the State of Texas has. I guess this has nothing to do with boxing but I just wanted to take some time to let you know that the Internet is a good place to look for history but you have to read the stuff first.

As far as I know, the US hasn't had to draft its citizens since the Vietnam War.

Dude, first off don't go dissin the island saying that we "draft" people from Puerto Rico. The United States has not "drafted" soldiers since the end of the Vietnam war when the military became volunteer only. Puerto Rico's army is the United States army, and many Puerto Ricans proudly "VOLUNTARILY" sign up to fight. PR is a territory similar in fashion to American Samoa.. I'm surprised other Puerto Ricans didn't jump to point this out. Oh well, now you know...
