I think perhaps one of the most underrated fighters of all time is ‘Sean O’Grady’. People can talk about Joe Calzaghe and other world champions for being underrated but looking at Sean’s record I think we have to consider him not as one of the all time greats, certainly not although he is in the hall of fame I believe, but certainly he is a top lightweight contender. Look at his record of 86 fights with 81 victories and only 5 losses, with 70 of those fights coming by knockout. Considering that record and his success in capturing the WBA Lightweight title, and retiring at just 24 can we conceive that had he continued to box he may well have considered him an all time great. Again that is a different questions, but certainly he is one of the most underrate boxers of all time.
