What if Margarita was never caught?

Would all of you think he is an ATG? I feel like I was the only one that always thought Margarita was trash even after he stopped Cotto. I always said Cotto would be his only highlight, and I was right, Sugar Shane Mosley destroyed him infront of a bunch of ignorant bastards that were booing Shane on the way in, and cheered for him after the fact.

How far could he have gone if he never got caught with loaded gloves?? Alot of you would be worshiping that cheating scumbag!

He has never been ATG material, the Cotto win didn't make him one. Margarito would have continued being what he always was: A tough pressure fighter that on any given night could beat any other welterweight.

If Margarito wasn't exposed as a cheater,he may have been the best welterweight right now!!Not that he deserved it,but when his super wraps got hard,he may have hurt Mosley, which most thought he would anyway!!Matter of fact, the only fighter I can think of willing to fight him after that would be the Punisher, everyone else would stay clear!!

Wouldn't have changed anything about the Mosley fight. He was fighting a pissed Sugar Shane. He still would've been KO'd.

If anyone remembers, this joker on ESPN compared pitted Margs against the greatest WWs of all time and had Margarito beating a bunch of them. Of course this was right before he got destroyed by Mosley.

Check it out for a good laugh.

Antonio Margarito might be one of the best welterweights of our generation, but how would he have fared against the best 147-pounders in boxing history?

I admired his chin of granite and amazing punch output, but was never a big fan of his. The Tijuana Tornado mystique was shattered after PWill got to him and even more so when he got busted and was blown away by Shane.

What a shame. He could've still been around to put on some great performances. If he returns, I don't think he'll be the same.

He still would have been ****d by Shane and on top of that wouldn't have gotten the time off needed to recover resulting in another KO loss. I heard he was getting dropped in sparring before his fight with SSM.
