what's UNDER-ESTIMATED more Mayweather DEFENCE or Pacquiao OFFENCE?

With the biggest fight ever dawning on us: mayweather/pacquiao..
do you think ppl are underestimating mayweathers defence ability against awkward southpaws
or pacquiaos offence ability against a guy like mayweather?

I gotta say I think ppl are underestimating mayweathers defence, saying he'll have problems with pacs power/work rate/awkward angles..
I give mayweather a few rounds to figure him out then pac will have problems..
    What u guys reckon?

I have always thought of Floyd's defense as overrated. I mean he is a good defender, but people talk about him like he is Whitaker... and Money is no Sweet Pea. Not even close.

I think both have been given credit for their specialty..
But if i have to choose it would be pac's offense.
since people are always saying that he is predictable and doesnt have that kind of power..

on the other hand, they sometimes overrate mayweather's defense..
like those *****s..who always says mayweather is super elusive.

Fair point, although I see when pac gets excited he tends to go back to straight brawling which pbf may capitalise on

I think everybody knows that floyd has the best defense in the sport....however, unbelievable as it may sound, there are still some people who don't believe in pac's offensive capabilities....

I hear ya on pac, but he'll have to stick to a gameplan on pbf n I mean '**** to a blanket' kinda stick, coz if he gets carried away on the brawling pbf will take over IMO

what fighter has mayweather fought that has a similar work rate per round as pacquiao? My thoughts on this is that no matter how good mayweather's defense is, the more punches that are thrown in succession, the higher the eventual hits. He can't swat away each and every punch thrown continuously. Thus, Mayweather will experience more leather versus Pacquiao than his last several fights. Enough for a win by Pacquiao? Don't know. We will see come fight night.

Neither, everyone knows that in both attributes of fighters are excellent. I would have said Pacquiao because, up until recently there were quite a few people that said he was too small to compete with De La Hoya and Cotto and some were saying Hatton would win as well.

Now people know Pacquiao can be a legit excellent Welterweight his offense is appreciated, Mayweathers defence is always appreciated, people might not like his style but you can't deny its the best defence in the world today. With very few coming close and the ones that come close are either old (Winky, Hopkins) or don't incorporate offense as well as Mayweather does

I think what ppl tend to underestimate more is actually Floyd's offense and Pac's deffense. All ppl talk about is Floyd's deffense, how much he runs, blah, blah, blah they fail to mention Floyd makes fighters pay when they make mistakes and he has good underrated power, on Pac's deffense, his chin is solid, constantly moving his head, good in and out movement. very hard to pick a winner on this fight.
