hatton wasn't the most skilled fighter, but he was likable and had an entertaining style to most people. was he overrated? probably. but i liked the guy. he did beat some legitimate competition, urango, paulie, kostya. he always put up a good fight. he has plenty of options for beatable opponents if he wants one more victory as his swan song. i think he could beat marquez at 140. marquez would be too slow and weak to do some real damage. cotto at 147 isn't a great idea. a rested and healed cotto would eat hatton alive. i don't think he could beat khan.

The money this fight would produce in the UK might make it possible if Hatton is looking for one final big payday.

If Warren insists on promoting the event and he will, this fight will never happen, end of story.

Khan isn't under contract to Warren now though is he? I can see him joining GBP or Top rank in the future.

I'd like to see the ****man snag another win before he retires for good. I think a fight with JMM would be a good one but I'm not sure he would walk away with a win on that one. I just like the style match up.

The problem with him saying "I just want to fight one more time" is that if he wins impressively he'll think he has it again and fight again. Seen it happen many times. Look at Roy? Pounds the piss out of Jeff Lacy and thinks he has his game back only to get sparked in the first round by Danny Green.
