Just Watched Williams-Martinez: My Scorecard

The first round was a clear 10-9 for Martinez. And for that matter I believe that it was preaty clear that the first 3 rounds were Martinez and rounds 4-6 were all Williams. The rest was a pure battle and a lot of swing rounds especially rounds 8,10,11.

It was a great fight, both boxers gave a really good night of entertainment and I believe that the proper scores for this fight are either 115-113 or 114-114. 119-110 was just ludicrous. But apart of that score there is no robbery, Pwil was the aggressor and busier so I have no prob with Pwill getting the SD.

I am a P Williams fan, i had it as a draw, although Martinez threw more effective punches, williams threw more punches, I will not underestimate Martinez again, he is good i like him, will be a good rematch, I think that judge who made that 119 scoreline should get there licence revoked for ever. I don't know where they get these ppl from, there was a judge similar who should get his/her for the Malignalli V Diaz fight. I would be a willing and fair judge, maybe they should keep the judges secret until the fight, the agreement should be made on judge from which area/ country etc but not actual names so there is less chance of bribing.

I give both fighters 10 in a tied round, close fight, close rounds, You could make a case Martinez stole some rounds with big shots at the end but take into consideration the rest of the round was Williams...NO ROBBERY!!!

Letterman, while the rest of his card was a joke, explained perfectly why he scored round 1 for Martinez. Martinez hurt PW more than PW hurt Martinez.

With the screen name P.Will why are you even attempting to act like you are capable of some unbias analysis?

I love the way PW blocks punches with his face, sure makes things exciting. Interesting choice of defense though.

Paul won the fight, regardless of what your hating mind thinks about it. He landed more punches in 8 out of the 12 rounds. He threw 300 more punches total. He was the effective aggressor. He out-hearted Martinez in the championship rounds. He won the fight. Don't be a little f@ggot and act like "lulz I hate Williams he got werked lulz". It was a close fight that Paul deserved.
