An appreciation thread for Brian Minto saturday night.

I've followed Minto for awhile now, he lives in Butler PA, about 90 mins from me. When I went to SRU, Butler was about 15 mins away and I had went to a few Amateur boxing events they held in Butler and I met Minto there for a minute.

He's always had a lot heart.. I expected an Arreola knockout, but I knew Minto had heart regardless of the size difference and that he'd go down swinging until he was taken out.

I applaud his effort Saturday night!

Yeah, he was catching fatman with a lot of good shots. When he got hit, he came right back and tried his best.

yeah ri*** he deserves it ..i was @ the fights and the crowd loved him all my friends (casual fans) were like "**** hes tough" and we where chanting "the beast" he also got props for the punch of the night when he snapped areolas head all the way bacl with that uppercut crowd went nuts

i wanna see more of THE BEAST

He would be a good cruiserweight but the size difference was just ridiculous. You can have all the skills necessary but if you dont have power in the Heavyweight division your just going to come up short

Always been a fan of his, I knew he was out-sized but I knew he wouldn't go down without a fight.

Yeah, Minto really went after it and had to be saved from his own heart. Mas props for him, maybe he can go down to cw. He could really make an impact there.

I agree with all of you. Great determination by him but the power difference was to big.

His heart and determination surprised the hell out of me. He put up a hell of a fight while it lasted. I tip my hat off to Minto. Hopefully we haven't seen the last of him.
